Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information

PlanMatch is a privately-owned, independent insurance comparison website operated by Benefits Life. We do not sell your personal information to data brokers or lead aggregators. However, when you ask us to connect you with help, we share the information you provide with licensed insurance agents and partners — and because some of those agents and partners pay to participate in our network, this sharing may be considered a "sale" or "sharing" of personal information under California's CCPA/CPRA and similar state laws. This page explains how to opt out.
Your right to opt out
If you are a California resident (or a resident of another state with a comparable law), you have the right to direct us not to "sell" or "share" your personal information. Exercising this right will not result in discrimination or a different level of service.
How to opt out
You can opt out in any of these ways:
- Email us at privacy@planmatch.com with the subject line "Do Not Sell or Share My Information."
- Call us at 1-800-597-1001 (TTY 711), Monday–Friday 8am–5pm MT, and tell the representative you want to opt out.
- Use a browser preference signal. We honor recognized opt-out preference signals, including the Global Privacy Control (GPC). If you visit our Site with GPC enabled, we will treat it as a request to opt out for that browser or device.
So we can process your request, please include or be ready to provide enough information for us to identify you, such as the name, email, or phone number you used with us.
Authorized agents
You may use an authorized agent to submit an opt-out request on your behalf. We may ask the authorized agent to show that you gave them permission to act for you.
What happens next
Once we receive and verify your request, we will stop selling or sharing your personal information as required by law, and we will direct our applicable partners to do the same. Opting out does not stop a licensed agent you have already chosen to speak with from following up on the request you made, and it does not prevent sharing that is necessary to provide a service you asked for or that is otherwise permitted by law.
