Acceptance of these terms

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of planmatch.com (the "Site"), operated by Benefits Life ("PlanMatch," "we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using the Site, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site. The Site is intended for residents of the United States who are 18 or older.

What PlanMatch is

PlanMatch is a privately-owned, independent insurance comparison website. We provide educational information and tools to help you compare insurance options — including Medicare, individual and family health (ACA), dental and vision, life, travel, and pet coverage — and we connect you with licensed insurance agents who can answer questions and help you enroll. PlanMatch is not an insurance company, does not issue insurance, and is not connected with or endorsed by the U.S. government or the federal Medicare program.

Not insurance, legal, or financial advice

The content on the Site is for general informational purposes only and is not insurance, legal, tax, or financial advice, nor a recommendation to buy any particular product or plan. Plan availability, benefits, premiums, and rules vary by location and change over time. Before making decisions, confirm details with a licensed insurance agent and with official sources such as Medicare.gov or 1-800-MEDICARE. Your eligibility for and enrollment in any plan is determined by the insurer and applicable rules, not by PlanMatch.

Connecting with licensed agents

When you call us or ask to connect, we may put you in touch with one or more independent licensed insurance agents who participate in our agent network. These agents are not employees of PlanMatch, and we do not control the advice they give or the products they offer. We do not guarantee that any agent will contact you, that any particular plan will be available, or that you will achieve any specific result. Any agreement you reach regarding a plan is between you, the agent, and the insurer.

Calculators and estimates

Any calculators, estimators, or figures on the Site (for example, the Medicare premium estimator) are provided for general illustration only, are based on assumptions and publicly available figures that may change, and are not quotes, offers, or guarantees. Your actual costs and options may differ. The calculators run in your browser, and the values you enter are not stored by us.

Intellectual property

The Site and its content — including text, graphics, logos, design, and software — are owned by or licensed to PlanMatch and Benefits Life and are protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the Site for your own personal, non-commercial use. You may not copy, reproduce, republish, scrape, or create derivative works from the Site without our written permission.

Acceptable use

You agree not to: use the Site for any unlawful purpose; submit false information or another person's information without authorization; interfere with or disrupt the Site or its security; use automated means (such as bots or scrapers) to access or collect data from the Site without permission; or attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Site or its systems.

Third-party sites and content

The Site may link to other websites and services that we do not operate or control, including comparison sites within the PlanMatch network and agent directories such as MedicareAgents.com. We provide these links for convenience and are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or practices of third-party sites. Your use of a third-party site is subject to that site's own terms and privacy policy.

Disclaimer of warranties

The Site and all content and tools are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that any information will be complete or current.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, PlanMatch, Benefits Life, and their owners, employees, and affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss arising out of your use of (or inability to use) the Site, your reliance on any information or tool, or your dealings with any agent or insurer, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless PlanMatch, Benefits Life, and their affiliates from any claims, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of your use of the Site or your violation of these Terms.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of the Site after a change means you accept the revised Terms.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of [your governing state], without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
